Privacy and respect of your personal information has and will continue to be an important part of the policies and practices of JIAS (Jewish Immigrant Aid Services) Toronto.  We will only collect personal information that is necessary to provide you with services.  While you are visiting our website, there are instances when JIAS Toronto may ask you to fill out a form to collect individually identifiable information in order to better facilitate the purpose of your visit. For example if you wish to make a donation or register for a program, we will collect information such as your first and last name, street address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, and email address.

When making a donation, you will also be asked for your credit card information.  We process this information via a reliable third party, PayPal, using a secure, encrypted SSL session. SSL is the proven standard for secure transactions. We maintain records of financial transactions in a secure location accessible only by authorized staff. However, credit card information (card number, card type, expiration date) is never transmitted to JIAS Toronto by PayPal and we do not ever have access to this information. 

We do not rent, sell or trade our electronic and print mailing lists or any information provided by you to us on this website.
